Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is a holistic treatment (mind body and spirit are taken into account) involving the use of essential oils which are extracted from plants to improve physical and emotional wellbeing. It helps to  promote health and vitality by stimulating the body to heal itself and by reducing stress which is a common cause of many ailments and illnesses. It can be traced back to the Egyptians 5000 years ago. You can read more about the History of Aromatherapy by clicking on this link.

Massage is an ideal medium to apply the oils to the body and increases the healing potential of aromatherapy.
